Goal: To spread awareness about the negative effects of bottled water in hopes of transitioning communities to tap water and reusable bottles.
What is this? It is part of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a group of areas within the North Pacific Ocean where trash collects from the natural current and wind patterns. The trash within the Garbage Patch is all completely man-made and could have been prevented. The picture above shows mainly plastic bottles that have ended up there.

Tapped is a documentary that aired in 2009 examining the impact bottled water has on our health, our environment, and our pockets.
Why is it Bad...
Bottled water has many different impacts on our daily life!
The Environment...

How to help
Post it!
Go buy a reusable water bottle or use one you already have and take a picture with or of it. Then post the picture with #SayNo2PlasticH2O and spread the word to others to do the same
